Area 7 Study Completion
The City of Toronto has now completed a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (EA) to address basement and surface flooding in Study Area 7. View Notice of Completion (PDF).

A copy of the Project File will be available for a 30-day public review period beginning Thursday March1, 2012 at the following locations:

Public Open House #2
On Monday November 23, 2009, the City of Toronto hosted a Public Open House for the second round of consultation for residents and business owners residing in Study Areas 7-10. The purpose of the meeting was to identify the causes of surface and basement flooding as well as to present the recommendations to help alleviate future flooding. View Public Notice (PDF). Comments are invited and requested by December 7, 2009.

Public Open House #1
A Public Open House was held on Thursday September 4, 2008 at Burnhamthorpe Collegiate Institute. The purpose of the meeting was to introduce the study, explained the Environmental Assessment process, describe the causes of flooding within the Study Area and outline potential solutions that will be considered in the study. Comments are invited and requested by September 18, 2008. View the meeting material (PDF):

Public input and comments are welcome and will be considered in the planning of this study. With the exception of personal information, all comments will become part of the public record.
