Update – Work to CPR Bridge just north of Dupont Street scheduled to begin in January 2009
Work is scheduled on the CPR Overpass (Dupont Street to Bridgman Avenue). The work will consist of rehabilitation of the bridge structure, replacement of the streetcar tracks and lowering of the roadway from Dupont Street to Bridgman Avenue. This will involve multiple phases and changes to the traffic flows and sidewalk access. This work is scheduled to begin in January 2009 at which time further details will be provided.
Stage 2 Update: Dupont Street to London Street (just north of Bloor)
Bathurst Street from Dupont Street to London Street (near Bathurst Station) was completed on August 30, 2008. This work started on Wednesday, July 2.
Track Work at TTC Hillcrest Complex Entrance

Watermain Work: Dupont Street to London Street
Installation of new watermain and replacement of water services on Bathurst Street is scheduled to take place on Bathurst St. from Dupont Street to London Street (just north of Bloor) from June to mid-July. Please see the Notice (PDF) for more information.
The Bathurst Street and Davenport Road intersection
The Bathurst Street and Davenport Road intersection is scheduled to undergo construction starting at 9:00am on Friday, May 23 until 6am on Tuesday, May 27, Please see the Public Notice (PDF) for more information.
Bathurst Street Track Reconstruction
(St. Clair Avenue West/Vaughan Road to Bathurst Station)
This year from April to July, the Toronto Transit Commission and the City of Toronto - Transportation Services will be replacing the streetcar tracks on Bathurst Street from just south of St. Clair Avenue West to just north of Bathurst Station, and on Vaughan Road from St. Clair Avenue West to Bathurst Street. The project will also include work by the City of Toronto on the CPR overpass, just north of Dupont Street. Please see the Construction Notice (PDF) for more details.
TTC Preliminary Rail Welding and Storage
Beginning in late March, preliminary rail welding work will occur on Bathurst Street in two locations. Rail welding involves welding standard lengths of rail into longer strings in advance of track construction, which will allow for faster track installation, thereby reducing the construction disruption to local communities.
