Timeline

• April 2006 - Open House Sessions
  Three public Open Houses were held to obtain input from the community regarding the study Terms of Reference.

• September 2006 – Draft Terms of Reference went before City Council
  A revised Draft EA Terms of Reference (ToR) and Staff Report (dated August 15, 2006) was submitted to City of Toronto Planning & Transportation Committee and City Council, seeking endorsement to proceed with completion of the ToR and submission to the Ministry of the Environment (MOE). The Committee and City Council resolved to proceed with the ToR with certain amendments to the Staff Report recommendations. • January 2007 – Terms of Reference submitted to the Ministry of the Environment for formal review and approval

• May 2007 – Amended Terms of Reference are submitted to the Ministry of the Environment
  On May 11, 2007, the City of Toronto and TTC submitted an Amended Terms of Reference to the Ministry of the Environment (MOE) for formal review and approval. The amended ToR included revisions based on comments and suggestions provided by government agencies, other stakeholders and the general public.

• June 2007 – Minister Approves Amended Terms of Reference

• November 2007 – Transit City and the new Transit Class EA
  The project team reviews how the new Transit Class EA process and the TTC’s Transit City Plan will relate to the Don Mills Road EA.
