Study Update
The Class Environmental Assessment for the reconstruction and widening of McNicoll Avenue from 130m west of Victoria Park Avenue to Highway 404 has been put on hold until further notice.

The Study
The City of Toronto is undertaking a Class Environmental Assessment (EA) for the reconstruction and widening of McNicoll Avenue from 130m west of Victoria Park Avenue to Highway 404.

This Study is being undertaken in accordance with the planning and design process for ‘Schedule B’ projects as outlined in the Municipal Engineers Association Municipal Class Environmental Assessment process (October 2000, as amended in 2007), which is approved under the Ontario Environmental Assessment Act.

How to get more information
The first Public Open House to learn more about this study took place on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at the Yoko Japanese & Korean Restaurant, 490 McNicoll Avenue. Those attending had an opportunity to view displays and speak one-on-one with project staff.
