Background
The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) is planning to construct a Light Rail Vehicle (LRV) Maintenance and Storage Facility at 8304 Sheppard Avenue East at Conlins Road. The project is needed to provide service and storage facilities for new Light Rail Vehicles for Transit City, including the Sheppard Avenue East Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, which will significantly enhance transit service for the community.

Study Process
The potential environmental effects of the LRV Maintenance and Storage Facility will be assessed in accordance with the Transit Project Assessment Process as prescribed in Ontario Regulation 231/08, Transit Projects and Greater Toronto Transportation Authority Undertakings (2008).
