NOTICE is given that in accordance with the City's real estate disposal by-law, the following properties were declared surplus on October 19, 2009:
1. Portions of 33 St. Lawrence Street, being part of Part 7 on Plan 66R-16601, also described as Blocks 61 and 62 on a Draft Plan of Subdivision dated August 17, 2008 (the "Properties"), subject to the retention by the City of a permanent easement for the maintenance, repair, replacement and use of the overpass bridge structure. The Properties have an area of approximately 346 m² (3,724.4 ft²). The City proposes to invite an offer to purchase the Properties from either the Toronto Waterfront Revitalization Corporation or Urban Capital-Redquartz Inc, the latter being the successful proponent of an RFP issued by the former.
2. A portion of Bonnycastle Street between Lake Shore Boulevard East and Queens Quay East and a portion of Lake Shore Boulevard East, being part of Bonnycastle Street on Plan 666E, shown as Part 2 on Sketch No. PS-2009-083 and Part of Lake Shore Boulevard East on Plan 649E, shown as Part 1 on the same Sketch (collectively the "Highway"), conditional upon City Council approving the permanent closure of the Highway. Part 1 on Sketch No. PS-2009-083 has an area of approximately 12.0 m2 (129.2 ft2) and Part 2 on the said Sketch has an area of approximately 91.9 m² (989.2 ft²). The City proposes to invite an offer to purchase the Highway from either the Toronto Waterfront Revitalization Corporation or Great Gulf (Downtown Properties) Ltd. or any of its affiliates, the latter being the successful proponent of an RFP issued by the former.
3. Portions of 190 Queens Quay East and 12 Bonnycastle Street, being Part of Lot 12 on Plan 694E, shown as Parts 5 and 6 on the Sketch drawn by Holding Jones Vanderveen Inc. dated June 20, 2008 (collectively the "Property"). The Property has an area of approximately 1,550 m² (16,685 ft²). The City proposes to invite an offer to purchase the Property from either the Toronto Waterfront Revitalization Corporation or Great Gulf (Downtown Properties) Ltd. or any of its affiliates, the latter being the successful proponent of an RFP issued by the former for the development of the eastern half of the block.
