Toronto Zoo - Annual Governance Review: Amendment
to By-law 1-2009

The Toronto Zoo is proposing to amend the Board of Management's Procedural By-law No. 1-2009.

The proposed revisions will bring the by-law in line with changes to the Board's structure and procedures previously approved by City Council and/or the Toronto Zoo Board of Management. As well, some proposed revisions are based on best practices.

To ask questions about the proposed amendments, please contact Sue Gunton, Director of Corporate Planning, Toronto Zoo at 416-392-5911.

At its meeting to be held in Committee Room 2, Toronto City Hall, 100 Queen Street West, Toronto, on November 24, 2011, commencing at 2 p.m., or as soon as possible thereafter, the Toronto Zoo Board of Management will hear in person or by his or her counsel, agent or solicitor, any person who wishes to speak to the matter. To submit comments or make a presentation to the Board of Management on November 24, 2011, please contact the following City official no later than 12 noon on November 23, 2011.
