The Council of the City of Toronto proposes to pass a by-law to permanently close portions of the public lane extending easterly from Ledbury Street between Bedford Park Avenue and Woburn Avenue, designated as Parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 on Plan 66R-26294, City of Toronto.

At its meeting to be held in the Council Chamber at the North York Civic Centre on September 11, 2012, the North York Community Council, at 10:45 a.m. will hear in person or by his or her counsel, agent or solicitor, any person who wishes to speak to this matter.

To view a copy of the proposed by-law and plan to close the portions of the lane, obtain additional information, submit comments or address the North York Community Council meeting on September 11, 2012, please contact the following City official no later than 12 noon on September 10, 2012.

Notice to people writing or making a presentation to the North York Community Council: The City of Toronto Act, 2006 and the City of Toronto Municipal Code authorize the City of Toronto to collect any personal information in your communication or presentation to City Council or its committees.

The City collects this information to enable it to make informed decisions on the relevant issue(s). If you are submitting letters, faxes, e-mails, presentations or other communications to the City, you should be aware that your name and the fact that you communicated with the City will become part of the public record and will appear on the City's website. The City will also make your communication and any personal information in it - such as your postal address, telephone number or e-mail address - available to the public, unless you expressly request the City to remove it.

The City videotapes committee and community council meetings. If you make a presentation to a committee or community council, the City will be videotaping you and City staff may make the video tapes available to the public.

This notice shall also constitute notice to the public of the proposed lane closure in accordance with the requirements of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment for Schedule "A+" activities.
