Committee Recommendations

The Civic Appointments Committee recommends that:

 

1.         City Council appoint the alternate listed in Confidential Attachment 1 to the Toronto Atmospheric Fund Board of Directors for a term of office ending on November 30, 2010, and until a successor is appointed.

 

2.         The City Clerk make the appointee’s name public once appointed by Council and the

appointee has been notified.

The Civic Appointments Committee recommends that:

 

1.         City Council appoint the candidate listed in Confidential Attachment 1 as the

Scarborough Community Council Area Representative to the Heritage Toronto

Board of Directors for a term of office ending on November 30, 2010, and until a

successor is appointed.

 

2.         The City Clerk make the appointee’s name public once appointed by Council and the

Decision Advice and Other Information

The Civic Appointments Committee:

 

1.         Referred the Item to the City Clerk to undertake an advertised recruitment process to fill the two vacancies on the Committee of Adjustment Toronto and East York Panel B.

 

2.         Requested the City Clerk to also notify all persons who previously applied for appointment to the Committee of Adjustment of the vacancies on the Toronto and East York Panel B.   

 

3.         Requested the City Manager to provide a copy of the first draft of interview questions for the Committee of Adjustment Toronto and East York Panel B to the next meeting of the Civic Appointments Committee.
