Confirmation of Minutes

On motion by Barbara Ewles, the Minutes of the meeting of the Property Standards Committee held on October 20, 2009, were confirmed.

The Property Standards Committee – Etobicoke York Panel:

1.         Confirmed the Order to Comply dated April 30, 2009, as written, issued under section 15.2(2) of the Building Code Act, S.O. 1992, Chapter 23, as amended, under Folder No. 09 131835 PRS 00 IV, by Stephen Shumelda, Property Standards Officer, for 4 Kinsdale Boulevard, Toronto.

Diana Fancher was recorded as voting in the negative.

The Property Standards Committee – Etobicoke York Panel:

1.            Confirmed the Order to Comply dated October 1, 2009, as written, issued under section 15.2(2) of the Building Code Act, S.O. 1992, Chapter 23, as amended, under Folder No. 09 173936 PRS 00 IV, by Rashid Madahey, Property Standards Officer, for 2723 Lake Shore Boulevard West, Toronto. The time to comply was extended to December 11, 2009.

The Property Standards Committee – Etobicoke York Panel:

1.         Deferred the matter of the Appeal to an Order to Comply dated October 23, 2009, issued under section 15.2(2) of the Building Code Act, S.O. 1992, Chapter 23, as amended, under Folder No. 09 180698 PRS 00 IV, by Vaughn Shaw, Property Standards Officer, to its January 19, 2010 meeting to allow the City’s Arborist Inspector and the Property Standards Officer to identify those trees to be pruned and those trees to be removed.

The Property Standards Committee – Etobicoke York Panel:

1.         Confirmed the Order to Comply dated October 12, 2009, issued under section 15.2(2) of the Building Code Act, S.O. 1992, Chapter 23, as amended, under Folder No. 09 177542 PRS 00 IV, by Tony Martino, Property Standards Officer, for 150 Carsbrooke Road, Toronto. The time to comply was extended to May 31, 2010.

The Property Standards Committee – Etobicoke York Panel:

1.         Confirmed the Order to Comply dated October 22, 2009, issued under section 15.2(2) of the Building Code Act, S.O. 1992, Chapter 23, as amended, under Folder No. 09 181415 PRS 00 IV, by Christina Thomas, Property Standards Officer, for 2259 Kipling Avenue, Toronto.

The Property Standards Committee - Etobicoke York Panel:

1.         Approved the following 2010 meeting dates, subject to the approved Council/Committee meeting dates:

January 19, 2010;

February 16, 2010;

March 23, 2010;

April 20, 2010;

May 18, 2010;

June 15, 2010;

July 13, 2010;

September 21, 2010;

November 9, 2010 and

December 14, 2010.
