Sign Variance Committee Appointments - Application Shortlisting
Confidential Attachment - Personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Sign Variance Committee.
Committee Decision

The Civic Appointments Committee shortlisted candidates to be interviewed for appointment to the Sign Variance Committee.

Decision Advice and Other Information

Ann Borooah, Chief Building Official and Executive Director Toronto Building, and Dan Mousseau, Project Manager, Sign By-law, Toronto Building, made an overhead presentation to the Civic Appointments Committee on the new Sign Variance Committee.

 

The Civic Appointments Committee recessed its public session and met in closed session to consider confidential information on this Item as it relates to personal matters about identifiable individuals being considered for appointment to the Sign Variance Committee.

Summary

The Civic Appointments Committee will conduct application shortlisting for the Sign Variance Committee.

 

(Copies of the confidential applications for Item CA24.1 are distributed under confidential cover to Members of the Civic Appointments Committee only.  Members of Council are able to view copies of the applications in the City Clerk's Office, Toronto City Hall.)

Vacancy on the Toronto Licensing Tribunal
Committee Decision

The Civic Appointments Committee:

 

1.         requested the City Clerk to advise the Toronto Licensing Tribunal that the Committee will not be filling the vacancy created by the resignation of Mr. Joel Dick at this time; and

 

2.         requested the Toronto Licensing Tribunal to notify the Civic Appointments Committee should this vacancy present a problem.
