The Natural Environment and Community Programs Section of Parks, Forestry and Recreation is implementing a series of ecological enhancements at three key sites to improve the quality and availability of suitable avian habitat in Toronto parkland, while offering visitors improved educational and recreational experiences related to bird life. You can call the Natural Environment hotline at 416-392-LEAF (5323) and leave a message if you have questions about this project.

The nature and type of ecological improvements varies according to the needs and opportunities of the three sites. The three sites, located in three major watersheds in Toronto include: Humberwood Parklands in the Humber watershed, Milne Hollow located in Charles Sauriol Conservation Area in the Don watershed and Woodlands Park in the Rouge watershed.
