Less is more at the beach
Wearing a bikini may make you a minimalist but if you also clean up after yourself and use reusable containers for your next beach picnic, you'll be doing your part to keep Toronto’s beaches clean.
Toronto has eight Blue Flag beaches. The Blue Flag is an international eco-label awarded to select beaches throughout the world.
Don’t feed the birds! Feeding birds results in excessive bird poop in the grass, sand and water. Excessive bird poop is bad for water quality and contributes to our beaches being closed for swimming.
