About Toronto's Wet Weather Flow Master Plan
The goal of the City of Toronto's WWFMP is to reduce and ultimately eliminate the adverse effects of wet weather flow (runoff generated by rain or snow). When implemented, the Master Plan will make our streams, rivers and waterfront cleaner and healthier. Public involvement is a key part of the Master Plan process. The City of Toronto aims to implement the WWFMP in a cooperative manner, involving Toronto and Region Conservation, government agencies and community groups, with an emphasis on private stewardship and community involvement.
