Youth Employment Toronto (YET):

The YET program provides an outreach service to youth aged 16-29 in the City who are currently out of school and out of work and require support to develop and reach their vocational goals. Six Employment Case Managers serve different areas of the City and meet youth in such locations as community centres, malls, youth hostels, drop-in centres etc. Employment Case Managers provide an employment assessment, career planning assistance, counseling support and referrals to assist youth in obtaining employment, skill development and further education opportunities.

The program is designed to provide a holistic service that addresses any needs that may prevent the young person from reaching their desired goals. Assistance is provided in linking youth to other services to meet these needs such as housing, substance use counseling, and legal advice.
