receiving individual feedback on your skiing performance to ensure you are at certification
standards. Successful participants of this course are encouraged to volunteer, only those
15yrs+ are eligible for the certification course with CSIA in accordance with their policies.

the Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors this program is perfect. Increase your
technical knowledge while receiving individual feedback on your snowboarding performance
to ensure you are at certification standards. Successful participants of this course are
encouraged to volunteer, only those 15yrs+ are eligible for the certification course with CASI
in accordance with their policies.

Racing programs are non-competitive programs, designed to enhance technical skills, posture, speed control, confidence and fun.
Prerequisite: Ski Step 6 or equivalent experience.
This program is designed for young skiers in their advanced stage of skiing. Focus will be on
racing stance, balance, edging, and early turn initiation in (GS) Slalom course.

This program is designed for skiers in their advanced stage of skiing. Focus will be on racing
stance, balance, edging, and rollerblade turns in (GS) Slalom course.
Prerequisite: Completion of Beginner Racing at Centennial or equivalent experience.
Focus will be on further development of racing skills. Element of start techniques and
introduction to gate training will be covered.
Prerequisite: Ski Step 5/Snowboard Step 4.
Our freestyle programs provide a learning environment in which riders can develop their
skills at an individualized pace with their instructor. A focus on core freestyle principles used
in slope style competition are emphasized through rider and skier development in order to
obtain maximum results when using a terrain park. Additionally, carved turns, advanced
steering, and movements to control stability and balance will be introduced and developed.
The improvement of height, safety and awareness of movement is developed through the introduction of aerial manoeuvres and flat land and rail tricks. Skills that will be introduced and further developed include: straight airs, airs with rotation, grabs and style, rails, boxes, and flat land tricks.
Note: All participants will be assessed on skiing/snowboarding skills. Only those who meet minimum requirements will be permitted to continue with the program. Please note that rentals are NOT available for this program.
Meet other people while learning how to snowboard in our new 2 hour beginner lesson. Classes are for first-time snowboarders and those who have tried a few times.
This is a program for adults 18 years+. Improve your snowboarding technique while developing your skills in our new 2 hour intermediate snowboard lesson. Current ability: able to link 6-8 novice turns, full use of carpet lift with snowboard on.
This two hour lesson is offered in the afternoon and evening. Designed for beginner skiers and those who can snowplow turn.

This is a program for women 18 years+. It is geared for the beginner, intermediate and advanced skier wanting to improve her skiing while enjoying the company of others during the evening.
Drop-in private lessons are available for skiing (3 yrs+) and snowboarding (5 yrs+).
Private lessons will be booked using the same method as program registrations. You can register online, by phone, by TTR or in person. When you book your lessons you have booked for one person. If you would like to make this a semi-private lesson (participants must be same age and same ability level), please contact the facility.
