- Q: I am on the waitlist for a program, how will I know if I get into the program?
- Recreation staff will notify you when a space becomes available for you. You can also check your registration status by logging-in to your account online or through the Touch Tone Registration (TTR) system at 416-338-0000.
- Q: A class was cancelled because of the weather; will there be a make-up class?
- In the event of a class cancellation due to extenuating circumstances, such as weather emergencies or power failures, every effort will be made to make up the class on another date.
- Q: I need to withdraw from my program; can I get a refund or credit on my account?
- Credits and refunds will be issued if you request a withdrawal prior to the third class or day of the program. Programs that operate beyond 12 weeks will be considered for withdrawals up to half of course participation. Credits and refunds will be prorated based on the date you request withdrawal. A $10 administration fee will be deducted from any credit or refund amount per person, per program for all withdrawals.
- To withdraw from your program, print and complete the Withdrawal, Transfer and Credit Form and take it to your local Community Centre (except in the North York District), or Customer Service Office. If you are unable to visit your local Community Centre or Customer Service office, you can mail your completed form to the following address: Parks, Forestry & Recreation - Customer Service, Toronto City Hall, 100 Queen Street West, 1st floor, Toronto, ON M5H 2N2. Sending personal information by fax is not a secure means of transmission. However, you may choose to fax your completed withdrawal form to our Customer Service Office at City Hall at 416-392-1551.
- Notes on credits and refunds: There are no refunds for memberships, passports and punchcards. For camps that have an added consumable fee, there is no refund of the consumable fee once the program starts. Credits of $10 and under will stay on account and will not be processed as a refund due to costs. For your convenience and easy access to Parks, Forestry & Recreation programs and facilities, credits will remain on accounts for three years.
- Q: I am unable to attend a free program at my local priority centre, do I need to withdraw?
- Free programs offered by the City, at designated priority centres, often have waiting lists. If you are registered for a free program and your plans to attend change, please be considerate and email 311@toronto.ca or call or visit your local Community Centre (except in the North York District), or Customer Service Office to withdraw from the program. If you do not attend, recreation staff may contact you and ask you to leave the program so that someone else can take your place.
- Q: Is my personal information secure?
- The City of Toronto is dedicated to protecting your personal information. All information collected by the City of Toronto is maintained in accordance with established policies and procedures related to confidentiality.
Information Collection
Any personal information collected is collected under the authority of the City of Toronto Act, 2006, ss. 8, 74 & 136, and the City of Toronto Municipal Code Chapter 441, Fees and Charges and Chapter 608, Parks. The information is used to process your application for program participation; the registration of individuals in programs; payment of fees; collection of outstanding fee amounts; aggregate statistical reporting, contacting clients regarding upcoming programs, and, additional mailings, including newsletters/surveys. Toronto FUN Online
Toronto FUN Online is Payment Card Industry compliant and significant measures have been taken to ensure the security of your account information and transactions. The system is thoroughly tested and employs encryption that is used in e-commerce and banking transactions. The “padlock” symbol indicates data is secure and is located at the bottom of the page for “My Cart” and “My Account" selections.
If you prefer to provide payment in person or if you do not have access to a credit card, you can go to and designated civic centre or community centre during regular business hours to establish a credit on your account. Advance credit payment by cash, cheque (made out to City of Toronto), or major credit card (VISA, Mastercard, or American Express).
