Fixed Fine System for Parking Tickets
At its September 2011 meeting, Toronto City Council approved a system of fixed fines for all parking offences in Toronto other than accessible parking offences. These will soon take effect, once the necessary by-laws are passed and in force. When the fixed fines take effect, Justices in court will no longer have the option of imposing a lower fine. Improved customer service at Metro Hall Parking Ticket counters
A Customer Service Numbering System has been installed at the Metro Hall Parking Ticket counter.
This new process will help to reduce wait times and ensure each customer's transaction is efficient and confidential.

More red light cameras on city streets
The City is increasing the number of red light cameras on Toronto roads to improve safety in our communities.
Changes to Watch Your Speed Program
The Watch Your Speed program uses large signs to show motorists the speed their vehicles are travelling and to get them to slow down. The program is being expanded by the City of Toronto.
