What is the term and how long can I serve?
Term of office is generally four years, concurrent with the term of the Council that appoints you.
Incumbents who are eligible and willing to seek reappointment may apply for another term. The limit on length of service for any citizen is 2 consecutive terms on the same board.
Members continue to serve on a board past the end of their term until successors are appointed.
