Each year, about 20,000 students from around the world pursue their education at one of Toronto’s universities or colleges.
  • Almost 70% of international students are from Asia.
  • 7% are from Europe.
  • 7% are from Latin America and the Caribbean.
  • 6% are from the U.S.
  • 4% are from Africa.
Of all international students studying at one of Toronto’s universities or colleges:
  • 35% are enrolled at the University of Toronto
  • 27% are enrolled at Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology
  • 15% are enrolled at York University
  • 11% are enrolled at George Brown College of Applied Arts and Technology.
