At risk of abuse
Employment and Social Services is committed to helping any abused person, especially vulnerable women and children. Employment and Social Services can help people at risk of abuse get crisis support and financial and emotional help.
While applying for Ontario Works, it is important for you to know that the caseworker will consider your needs and respect confidentiality issues. If you are at risk of abuse, you can be given extra time if you cannot get documents such as your identification and information about assets such as joint bank accounts. |
