The September 1965 opening of the newly designed City Hall launched Toronto into an era of architectural experimentation.  Forty years later Toronto marked the 40th anniversary of City Hall with a spectacular evening of music, dance, art and theatre.

During the 2005 edition of the WinterCity Festival, the My Life, My City photography exhibition offered a behind-the-scenes look at a day in the life of 24 celebrated Toronto personalities.

April - October 2000   
Moose in the City

Moose in the City was a wildly successful outdoor art exhibition of 326 life-sized moose sculptures grazing the streets of Toronto. Local residents and millions of visitors from around the world fell in love with Toronto’s metropolitan moose.

New Year's Eve 1999    
Millennium Lights

Toronto Harbour exploded in stunning fireworks, lasers and lights as more than one million  revellers gathered at Toronto’s downtown waterfront to usher in the new millennium with the largest-ever fireworks extravaganza in Canadian history.
