Cavalcade of Lights First Lighting Celebration Saturday, November 27 This event marks the premiere lighting of the Cavalcade of Lights Display, which includes the radiance of 100,000 lights, Toronto's official Christmas Tree, live music to get everyone into the spirit of the season and a vivid fireworks display to illuminate Toronto City Hall. FREE! Festive Fireworks Saturday, December 4, 11 & 18 The festivities continue every Saturday evening in December reprising the explosive pyrotechnic performance of the First Lighting Celebration. FREE! Designs in Ice December 27 - 29 The 22nd annual Designs in Ice competition at Yonge-Dundas Square showcases the work of Ontario's top ice carvers. FREE! Citytv's Traditional New Year's Eve Bash Friday, December 31 Capping off the calendar of events for the month is Citytv's annual New Year's Eve celebration at Nathan Phillips Square. FREE!
