An exhilarating evening of entertainment with a live outdoor musical concert, skating party and a stunning fireworks display.

 
  Pre-Show
  5 - 7 pm   Meet and Greet Jamie Salé hosted by Burt's Bees
Stop by the Burt's Bees tent for your chance to meet Jamie Salé. She will be available to sign autographs and pictures.
 
 
  6 - 7 pm   Skating Party hosted by Timothy's World Coffee
Family friendly skating party with DJ M-Rock. From placing in international DJ battles to tearing up clubs all over the city, DJ M-Rock brings his unique mixes of the latest Top 40 Hits and holiday classics to the party.

Keep an eye out for The Fire Guy, Tim Holland the Puppet Tamer and The Roaming Diva for breath taking performances around Nathan Phillips Square.

The Singer, dancer and actor from Abbotsford, British Columbia, is not afraid of being in the spotlight, as proven by her spirited debut single, "Shut Up and Dance".

  7 pm   Opening ceremony hosted by Kevin Frankish from Citytv and Jeni from Flow 93.5 FM. Holiday Medley led by Justin Abedin.  
 
  Justin Abedin

  Justin Abedin, a professional musician for years, has performed and recorded with Nelly Furtado, Snow and Divine Brown, among many others. He was part of the Canadian Idol house band on CTV. Abedin released two CDs with singer/songwriter Nikki Loney, Lies and Accusations and Tourists in My Life.

  Musical show with Special Guests:

JUNO Award-winning Kellylee Evans' sultry jazz voice has grabbed the attention of today's top musicians. With her unique style as an eclectic artist, Kellylee Evans ignites inspiration through her rich, soothing, robust and energizing voice as well as for her song writing. Nina, her new release, is a beautiful tribute to one of jazz's greatest vocalists and pianists, Nina Simone, which won the 2011 Juno Award for Vocal Jazz Album of the Year.
 
 
  Justin Hines   Justin Hines, the singer/songwriter from Newmarket, Ontario, is blessed with a high register and a poetic eloquence that tenderly shines through his music. His single, “Say What You Will,” was the number one best-selling iTunes singer/songwriter download for nine weeks straight. From teenage pop prodigy to mature and compelling singer/songwriter, Justin hopes to make "people feel something" through his new album, Days to Recall.  
 
  Jordan Croucher (JRDN)   MuchMusic Video Award-winning Jordan Croucher, better known as JRDN, is an emerging Canadian R&B/hip-hop artist. With the soulful songs from his forthcoming second album, he has adopted the abbreviated stage name and surrounded himself with new people since his debut album IAMJRDN.  
 
  Jarvis Church   The JUNO Award-winning, Grammy nominated, Jarvis Church (Gerald Eaton), started his career as a founding member of Toronto band The Philosopher Kings. Church's self-produced sophomore CD, The Long Way Home, is an earth-quaking, booty-shaking, reggae-influenced musical experience, "I call this album The Long WayHome because I'm Jamaican, I grew up in toronto and now I live in L.A., so my album reflects that.

Nathan Phillips Square Lighting Display

The lighting at Nathan Phillips Square is a Toronto tradition featuring the official Christmas tree and more than 100,000 energy efficient LED lights that shine from dusk to 11 pm every night throughout the holiday season.

The Nathan Phillips Square Lighting Display shines brightly in colours of red, white and silver. Skate under the canopy of spectacular glittering stars suspended from the Freedom Arches over the Square's famous outdoor rink.
