Metal sculpture forest created by Tempermettle
Hand-forged metal tree and animal sculptures by Gillian Farnsworth and Rowena O'Connor are on display in the Eglinton bus terminal rotunda.
Tempermettle is the imagination of artist, Gillian Farnsworth, and metal tailor, Rowena O'Connor. This creative team showcases interactive, sculptural installations. TM's trademark exhibition, "Engineered", is a synthetic forest populated by tree-like forms and armour-clad critters displayed in a natural landscape of grass and bark mulch hills. Gillian and Rowena have been working together for over a decade. Their installations have been featured across Canada and New York City and in film.
