June Garber

Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, June takes centre stage singing jazz music. She has performed worldwide in clubs and jazz festivals. June performs her own renditions of the greats, Gershwin, Porter, Rodgers & Hart, Sondheim and Kurt Weill and has been heard on radio stations across the country, creating a magical experience for audiences.

National Band of the Naval Reserve

The National Band of the Naval Reserve is a professional, diversified organization of 35 musicians, professionals and students hailing from the Naval Reserve Units across Canada. They have performed before royalty, Heads of State, senior civic and military leaders and varied audiences in the United States and Canada.

Formed in 1976, the National Band of the Naval Reserve has been recognized as a musical organization of superior calibre. The Band provides its audiences the pleasure of hearing a military band proud of its tradition of naval and musical excellence.

Toronto All-Star Big Band

The Toronto All-Star Big Band revives the spirit, style and sound of 1930s and 40s, the golden age of the big bands. This vibrant cast of young talent excels in brilliant programming, slick choreography and witty cultural nostalgia which have earned them a position at the top of the list for presenters throughout Canada and the U.S. The Band has performed at the All-Canadian Jazz Festival Port Hope, the Canadian Big Band Celebration and the Beaches International Jazz Festival.

Bob Cary Orchestra

Bob Cary Orchestra

A professional trumpet and musician since 1956, Bob Cary has performed worldwide. Born in Providence, Rhode Island but residing in Canada since 1972. Bob, a graduate of Berklee College of Music and a self-renowned Jack (or Bob) of all trades, is a fixture on the Toronto music scene. He leads his own 19-piece dance-band orchestra as well as the 12-piece Randy Brooks Orchestra.

York Jazz Ensemble

York Jazz Ensemble

Performing since 2000, The York Jazz Ensemble, a nine-piece jazz band comprised of trumpet, trombone, baritone, tenor and alto saxophones, piano, bass, guitar and drums. With a repertoire that consists of Big Band standards, swing, jazz standards, original compositions and arrangements, the group is frequently accompanied by vocalists, Beverly Taft, Jen Sagar and George Westerholm.

Formed in 1996, The Swing Shift Big Band is comprised of 17 top musicians and the dazzling vocalists Dave Statham and Larisa Renée. With hundreds of well-rehearsed songs in their book, the award-winning band has the selection to keep everyone dancing and listening long into the night.
