This concept includes a West façade open to Market Lane, which is to remain a predominantly pedestrian space.
The East façade runs along the Jarvis Street corridor with access to parking, vendor access to the Market Hall, and service access.
The South façade makes a conscious reference to the previous building along with a contemporary interpretation of the existing South Market.
The roof for the building was developed using a transparent conservatory roof form that affirms the visual connection to the South Market while allowing for natural light deep into interior spaces.
