Toronto residents are reminded that it is not possible to pay City of Toronto property tax bills over the web or by telephone unless using their bank or financial institution's web or telephone services. Property tax payment options.
The City advises Toronto residents to be aware of possible fraudulent telephone calls stating that an online City tax, utility, or parking ticket payment has not gone through, and requesting that further payment be made through a website provided by the caller. The City of Toronto will never call you to advise that an online payment has not gone through, or ask you to make payment or provide any banking or account information over the telephone. Do not provide personal banking information to anyone over the telephone or web or make an online payment on any website that cannot be verified.
