Employment Insurance (EI)

Ontario Disability Support Program
Helps people with disabilities who are in financial need pay for living expenses, like food and housing and provides some employment supports.

Toronto Employment & Social Services (TESS)/Ontario Works (OW)
Employment services, financial benefits and social supports for eligible Torontonians.

Wage Earner Protection Program
Reimburses eligible workers for unpaid wages, vacation pay, severance pay and termination pay they are owed when their employer declares bankruptcy or becomes subject to a receivership.

Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB)
Promotes workplace health and safety, and provides a workers’ compensation system for the employers and workers of Ontario.
