Ward 37 Scarborough Centre

Since 1988 I have had the pleasure of serving the residents of Scarborough as their City Councillor for Ward 4 and after amalgamation for Ward 15 Scarborough Civic Centre from 1997-2000 and Ward 37 Scarborough Centre from 2000-2003.

During my time as City Councillor, I have had the opportunity to meet and work with many wonderful people. Along the way I have formed many friendships and seen dramatic challenges such as amalgamation.

On October 2, 2003, I was elected to the Ontario Legislative Assembly as Member of Provincial Parliament for Scarborough Southwest. In my new position, I will continue to show the same kind of commitment and responsibility in representing the people of Scarborough as I did when I was a City Councillor.

I wish the new City of Toronto Council well as they embark on an exciting and challenging period in our City's history. I will never forget my roots and Scarborough continues and always will be the place I call home.
