Walkable Cities Poster Competition

The “Walkable Cities” Poster Competition is the fifth annual poster competition hosted by the Toronto Society of Architects. The 2010 competition invited submissions for a design that draws attention to the value of pedestrian oriented design in cities and illustrates how a culture of walking can enhance economic, social, and ecological sustainability.

Over 60 submissions were received. Finalists were selected by a jury on the basis of originality and creativity in describing, representing or suggesting the theme; design excellence; and design adaptability in whole or part for other media applications or formats.

Thank you to the generous sponsors: Astley Gilbert and the Public Realm Section, Transportation Services, City of Toronto.
