While each Urban Fellow’s experience is unique, the program is structured to provide meaningful work and numerous professional development opportunities at the City of Toronto. Over the year-long program, Urban Fellows take on two six-month assignments in different City divisions. This work is overseen by Projects Guides who are experienced directors, managers or senior professionals within the Toronto Public Service. Coaching and mentoring are offered through a variety of formal and informal channels. A monthly Learning Series provides additional knowledge transfer and networking opportunities.
