 Convenient
You will no longer have to write cheques or stand in line on a due date.
You will receive an e-mail from epost, the free online mail delivery service from Canada Post, advising that you have mail when your Utility Bill is issued.

 Economical
You will reduce your postage and cheque costs by not having to write or mail cheque payments. The City of Toronto does not charge a fee for enrolling in the e-billing program.

 Secure
You don't have to worry about lost or stolen cheques.
Your water bills will be sent to a secure electronic mailbox.

 Paperless
Receive, view, pay and store your bills at the click of a mouse - without all the hassle of paper documents.

Plus, you can save your mail online for up to 7 years!



How to sign up
You must have internet banking, telephone banking or be enrolled in the Pre-Authorized Utility Bill Payment program to use this service.

Step 1: Pay the Utility Bill you have just received.

Step 2: Visit www.epost.ca to set up your free, secure "epost box". Select a username and password.
Step 3: Set up "City of Toronto as a Mailer in your epost mailbox.

Step 4: Have your most recent Utility Bill handy to be able to enter your 20 digit account number.

Step 5: Relax and wait for your email notification of your next Utility Bill online.


Please Note: If you use telephone or internet banking and forget to pay your Utility Bill on time, you will receive overdue notices in the mail directly from the City of Toronto.
