Contributor information
Contributors need to be aware that changes have been made to the City of Toronto's 2006 campaign contribution rebate program.

• Only individuals are eligible for a contribution rebate. Corporations and trade unions will no longer receive rebates for their campaign contributions.
• Contributions of goods and services are no longer eligible for a contribution rebate.
• The contributor's name, postal code and contribution amount will be posted on the City's website under the candidate's name that they supported.
• The deadline for the contributor's rebate application has been extended to:
  • For contributions made in 2006:
    - January 31, 2008
  • For contributions made in 2007 for extended campaigns: 
    - 6 months from the date the receipt was issue
