Schedule 5 of the Water Supply By-law (PDF) outlines the implementation plan for backflow prevention within the City of Toronto. Due to the risks, industry sectors which are classified as severe and moderate hazard properties, shall install appropriate premise isolation (Backflow Prevention) devices by the deadlines specified.
