Programs for residents
-
Toilet rebate program
Replace your old water-guzzling toilet with a new water efficient
model and reap the rewards. Get money back, save on your water
bill and reduce water use. A typical toilet can guzzle up to 20
litres of water in a single flush, but an ultra-low flush toilet
does just as great a job with 6 litres!
The
City is offering Toronto residents living in detached houses,
semis, duplexes (including buildings with up to six units),
individual condo units, and townhouses a $60 or $75 cash incentive
to replace a high water use toilet with a City-selected water
efficient model. View program details.
- Washing
machine rebate program
Save detergent and money while conserving water and energy. Toronto's
washing machine program offers qualified participants $60 cash
back for the purchase of City-selected, high-efficiency clothes
washers. Water efficient washing machines use 60 per cent less
water and energy. A family of four can save up to $123 per year
on water and energy bills. View program
details.
