its mandate and is no longer active. The following information is
provided for archival purposes.
About the advisory
group
In February 2003, the City of Toronto Works committee approved
the membership of the New and Emerging Technologies, Policies
and
Practices Advisory Group. The group is made up of experts, citizens,
and other voting and non-voting stakeholders. The advisory group
has been formed to assist in guiding the review of new and emerging
technologies, policies and practices to process and manage the "residual
waste" remaining after the full implementation of the three-stream
system described above.
