Welcome to Designing Toronto’s Future Streets!
This we b site will keep you informed about the consultation process for this project, and will provide an easy way for you to send comments to the project team responsible for developing the design guidance for Toronto’s future streets. We will regularly add new information, so remember to visit often.


What's new

The consultation and review process is now complete
City staff would like to thank all who participated in the consultation activities for this project. The comments you shared on the issues of street design and operation have been reviewed by the working group responsible for developing the standard street designs.

We invite you to review the final project report and staff recommendations that will be presented to a joint meeting of the Planning and Transportation Committee and Works Committee (PDF) on Wednesday November 30, 2005.

Public Consultation Workshops have been completed
A series of four public workshops and one development industry workshop have been completed. The project team is currently reviewing the comments and suggestions made during the workshops as well as those received via the online surveys.
