Humber Treatment Plant Neighbourhood Liaison Committee (HTPNLC)

This site was last updated February 18, 2011

The Humber Treatment Plant is one of four sewage treatment plants operated by the Toronto Water. Located along the Queensway, near the mouth of the Humber River, the plant provides treatment of sewage collected from residents and businesses serviced by the plant. A Neighbourhood Liaison Committee has been formed to provide interested residents and businesses an opportunity to discuss plant issues with City of Toronto staff.

Who's involved?
Membership is open to residents and representatives from businesses in the service area and all other residents of Toronto interested in the facility. As well, Technical Services, Public Consultation and Humber Treatment Plant staff are involved in the meetings.

What are the issues?
The Committee will discuss issues related to consultation, odour and plant operations.

How can I get involved?
Meetings are held on an as-needed basis and take place on weekday evenings at the plant. If you are interested in attending a meeting or would like to suggest agenda items, please contact us.
