Please Note: Under current provincial lockdown measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19, indoor skating arenas are closed. Outdoor skating rinks closed on March 21, 2021.

Useful skating links:

Rinks are maintained by Parks, Forestry & Recreation according to a pre-determined schedule, based on the intensity of use the particular rink receives. Some rinks have dedicated on site staff, others have a staff rover or flying squad and are maintained every 4 or 8 hours.

Most arenas have permits in place for the different programs occuring at their location. For programs that do not require a permit, please select the appropriate program under Drop-in Programs to view available times for each arena.

Homemade skate devices as well as chairs, baby carriers, strollers and sleds are not permitted on the ice at any time. However, skating and hockey sledges which are adaptive skating devices that give people with disabilities the opportunity to participate in leisure skate and hockey activities may be available throughout the City of Toronto by calling your local district representative. More information may be found on the City of Toronto website.
