Once awarded a contract with the City, will I still receive a paper copy of the Agreement to sign?
No. Once the Ariba Network is launched, the majority of procurement transactions with the City will be executed electronically. You’ll be able to sign the Agreement using DocuSign®.
I have an existing contract with the City. What impact, if any, will SAP Ariba have on it?
We do not anticipate any impact on any existing contract with the City. Invoices related to existing contracts will still be submitted in accordance with the process you follow today.
Will I continue to receive Purchase Orders in the same way?
For the foreseeable future, yes. In 2019, as part of the City’s supply chain transformation, we will begin implementing Procure-to-Pay processes on the Ariba Network. Once that happens, you will receive Purchase Orders electronically via the Ariba Network. More information will be posted on Procure-to-Pay in the upcoming months.
