Food Vendors are an important enhancement to many of the events produced by the City of Toronto. Vendors are welcome to submit their applications to participate in Fresh Wednesdays, Tasty Thursdays, Canada Day at Mel Lastman Square, Nuit Blanche Toronto and the Cavalcade of Lights. By participating you will build your brand within the community and give your company exposure to thousands of attendees that these events attract annually.

Eligibility Criteria & Application Process

Eligible participants must:

  • Be able to operate an outdoor temporary establishment while adhering to the Temporary Food Establishment Vendor Guidelines. Email to request a PDF of the Toronto Public Health guidelines.
  • Maintain proper Commercial General Liability Insurance of $5,000,000 per occurrence, listing the City of Toronto as an additional Insured

To participate in events produced by the City of Toronto, the Vendor must:

  • Request a Vendor Interest Form by emailing Complete the form to become eligible to participate in events produced by the Cultural Events Office. This only needs to be completed once to be eligible for future years.
  • Forward the completed form to or mail to City Hall, 100 Queen Street West, 6th floor West Tower, Toronto ON M5H 2N2 or fax to 416-395-0278.

Vendors will be notified once the City of Toronto has received the Vendor Interest Form. At that time, the Vendor will be added to a contact list for event vending opportunities.

The City’s Selection Process supports the overall goals and objectives of each specific event and is equitable and transparent to all vendors.
