National Day of Mourning (Workers’ Mourning Day)
Flags on official flag poles at Toronto City Hall, Metro Hall, Etobicoke Civic Centre, York Civic Centre, North York Civic Centre, Scarborough Civic Centre and East York Civic Centre, will be flown at half-mast to mark the National Day of Mourning for persons killed or injured in the workplace.

June 6 – 12
Flags on official poles at Toronto City Hall, East York Civic Centre, Etobicoke Civic Centre, York Civic Centre, North York Civic Centre, Scarborough Civic Centre, and Metro Hall will be flown at half-mast until the day of the funeral on June 12, to recognize the passing of Curtis Smith, an employee with Solid Waste Management Services, who passed away on June 5, 2019 as a result of a work related incident.

National Day of Remembrance for Victims of Terrorism
Flags on official flagpoles at Toronto City Hall, Metro Hall, Etobicoke Civic Centre, York Civic Centre, North York Civic Centre, Scarborough Civic Centre and East York Civic Centre, will be flown at half-mast to mark the National Day of Remembrance for Victims of Terrorism.

June 27 – July 5
All flags on official poles at Toronto City Hall, East York Civic Centre, Etobicoke Civic Centre, York Civic Centre, North York Civic Centre, Scarborough Civic Centre, and Metro Hall will be flown at half-mast until July 5 to recognize the passing of former Councillor, Anne Johnston who passed away on June 26, 2019.

September 7
All flags on official poles at Toronto City Hall, East York Civic Centre, Etobicoke Civic Centre, York Civic Centre, North York Civic Centre, Scarborough Civic Centre, and Metro Hall will be flown at half-mast on Saturday, September 7 to mark the Memorial Service for the late former Councillor, Anne Johnston, who passed away on June 26, 2019.

Firefighters’ National Memorial Day
Flags on official flagpoles at Toronto City Hall, Metro Hall, Etobicoke Civic Centre, York Civic Centre, North York Civic Centre, Scarborough Civic Centre and East York Civic Centre, will be flown at half-mast to mark the Firefighters’ National Memorial Day.

Police and Peace Officers’ National Memorial Day
