Toronto was ranked fourth in the world in the list of global fintech centres of the future, according to a survey published by the Toronto Financial Services Alliance and Z/Yen. The survey was based on responses from 300 individuals working in financial centres across the world. The report highlighted the key factors behind Toronto’s favourable rank included a “very strong government support, low cost of accommodation, great cultural diversity and plenty of capital available.”
