Resonance Consultancy named Toronto one of the world’s best city brands in their Global Ranking of Place Equity. The report compares the relative quality of place, reputation and competitive identity for global cities with metropolitan populations of 2 million or more and capital cities with metropolitan populations of 1 million or more. Cities were judged based on six key factors: place, programming, prosperity, product, people and promotion. Toronto ranked highly due to the category of people and our high percentage of foreign-born residents.
