The Official Plan is intended to ensure that the City of Toronto evolves, improves and realises its full potential in areas such as transit, land use development, and the environment. The most recent official plan consolidation of Chapters 1 to 5 is in effect as of December 2023. The most recent consolidation of Schedules 1-4 is in effect as of March 2022 and the most recent consolidations of Chapters 6 and 7 are in effect as of June 2015, except where more recently dated.
The online version of the Official Plan is a consolidation of the Official Plan policies in effect as of December 2023 (Chapters 1-5), March 2022 (Schedules 1-4) and June 2015, except where more recently dated (Chapters 6 and 7). It is provided for information purposes only. For legal purposes, reference should be made to the original certified documents which are on file with the City Clerk including the Official Plan as approved by the Ontario Municipal Board on July 6, 2006 and subsequent Official Plan Amendments.The Special Policy Area policies in Section 3.4 of the Official Plan remain under appeal.
