Brian Hollingworth, P.Eng., B.Eng., M.A.Sc., is a Director of IBI Group in Toronto and has 17 years experience in the areas of integrated transportation and land-use planning, traffic engineering, parking and active transportation.
He is recognized as a leader in developing sustainable transportation plans and policies and has authored several publications in this regard including an ITE Recommended Practice on “Promoting Sustainable Transportation Through Site Design”, a national briefing on “Strategies for Sustainable Transportation Planning”, and “Active Transportation – Making it Work for Canadian Communities”, the latter two prepared for the Transportation Association of Canada.
Brian has overseen the preparation of numerous multi-modal transportation plans for communities across Canada wherein leading edge policies on development, parking and access have been developed and applied. In addition to this transportation planning experience, Brian has written or overseen over 100 site transportation impact studies for a wide range of residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.
Jenny McMinn, B.Arch., B.E.S., LEED AP BD+C, is the Managing Director at Urban Equation where she works with developers across North America to create business cases for their sustainable development goals, including carbon neutrality, net zero energy, and the One Planet Living designation.
Jenny has been providing consulting services to building managers, developers and designers for over a decade; prior to joining Urban Equation, Jenny worked at Halsall Associates (now WSP) as Project Principal on more than 100 green building projects. Her experience includes optimizing both new and existing buildings across the commercial, residential and institutional sectors. She has successfully helped teams see the connection between architecture and building physics on iconic Canadian buildings such as the University of British Columbia’s new Student Union Building; Toronto Pan Am Athletes Village; and the Toronto Dominion Centre, through its award-winning environmental optimization program, which achieved LEED EB Platinum certification.
Jenny graduated with honours from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Architecture and Environmental Science, Pre-Professional Architecture. Jenny is a LEED Accredited Professional with a specialization in Building Design and Construction.
