Emery Creek runs from just north of Finch Avenue and Weston Road south and then west to the Humber River. The portion running from just north of Finch Avenue to Lanyard Drive is enclosed in a pipe, installed in the late 1960’s.

The City of Toronto began construction of stormwater management ponds and wetlands in the Emery Creek Hydro Corridor in winter 2016. The main function of these ponds/wetlands is to improve water quality in Emery Creek and Humber River. This project is part of the City Council-approved 2016 Capital Works Program.
