Opportunity Details

Are you passionate about Toronto’s natural environment and want to share that passion with others? Volunteer as a Don Valley Brick Works Ambassador to help interpret and animate the natural environment in the Don Valley Brick Works Park and surrounding parkland.

  • interact with the public
  • meet new people and improve your communication skills
  • educate park users on the history and ecology of this unique restoration site
  • encourage sustainable use of our sensitive natural areas
  • attend tours and improve your knowledge on topics such as flora and fauna


Volunteers engage with the public from an information tent located at the front entrance to the park or within the surrounding areas.

Time Commitment

Ambassador sessions take place from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month from May through September. Volunteers are encouraged to attend 4 sessions during the program.
