The TD Museum Education Program was created in order to break down barriers and increase accessibility to Toronto’s history museums for students who may not otherwise have the opportunity to visit. Free school trips are available to select TDSB and TCDSB schools through the end of 2018.

Toronto District School Board

  • TDSB schools with a ranking of 300 or lower on the Learning Opportunities Index (LOI) are eligible. Please review the current LOI rankings as provided by the TDSB.
  • Teachers are permitted to book one full-day program per class, per school year.

Toronto Catholic District School Board

  • Eligible TCDSB schools will be contacted directly by head office.
  • Teachers are permitted to book one full-day program per class, per school year.

Please visit our School Trips page to browse current education program offerings. Program listings include length and description of activities, curriculum links and minimum/maximum numbers of students per program.

Please note: the TD Museum Education Program applies only to the Toronto History Museums and does not include City-run Cultural Centres (such as Cedar Ridge) or other museums (such as the ROM). Funding is only available for school visits and cannot be used for in-class programs.
